It's officially fall! This elegant & rustic outdoor wedding had beautiful flowers, cute kids, wedding pies, and an invisible jump rope contest. This was my first time at the Angus Barn and I was so excited to check out the views, and the food! Chris Werner flew all the way from California to shoot this adorable couple's wedding and I was fortunate to get the chance to shoot with him. If you live in the Pacific time zone, check him out for your wedding! Since Chris took care of the formal portraits, he let me do what I love best: shoot purely phojournalistic style!

What an amazing new venue in downtown High Point! Gorgeous bride. Gorgeous venue. Great people. It did storm a bit after the ceremony, so we weren't able to take bride & groom portraits outside, but we did get to utilize the antique furniture stored at the venue. Check out all the fun that was had at this wedding! Thanks to Scott Hill for the opportunity to second shoot. It's always an adventure and learning experience working with other photographers.

Vivianne's 100 days old! This little girl has the most adorable cheeks I have ever seen. She was so laid-back and cooperative during her photo shoot, and she was so good at looking at the camera! Already a natural! We took a stroll around a park in Carrboro before heading back for some photos in her beautiful home.

These two were married in 105+ degree NC weather. Despite the sweat and thirst, everyone had a fantastic time! And I also had a fun experience second shooting for Michelle Gunton for the first time.

Happy 1-year birthday, Eliot! It was a beautiful day for a family shoot. Eliot's big brother Julian had a lot of energy and it was a fun challenge keeping up with him and trying to capture him in the frame!

High school sweethearts Melissa and Conally won my engagement shoot contest a couple of months ago. They are one of the nicest couples you will ever meet! Beware: This is a very PICTURE HEAVY post because I couldn't narrow it down more. We first explored Fearrington Village and after a quick change of clothes, we started our exploration of NCMA! Grab a snack, scroll, and enjoy!

Southpoint Vineyards, Coker Arboretum & Sugarland Anniversary Photos

One of my favorite sessions ever!! I had the pleasure of spending a morning with Jessica and Scott to take some photos for their 1-year wedding anniversary, which happens to be today...so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! We stopped by the Vineyards at Southpoint, where they enjoyed sipping some good wine together, and then to Sugarland on Franklin Street to eat some delicious cupcakes, and finally the arboretum on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. The day was a beautiful change from the recently cold weather. Now...how gorgeous and adorable does this couple look?
