Erin and Dave had contacted me in the fall of 2013 and I had been looking forward to it for what seemed like an eternity! It poured during the ceremony, but thankfully we were able to take advantage of the beautiful scenery beforehand! The rain did not make the ceremony any less emotional. They had friends travel thousands of miles to be with them on this special day. They moved to the West Coast shortly after the wedding and I hope they are enjoying the warm Cali sunshine! These two were one of the most easygoing and sweet couples I've worked with, and I'm so honored they picked me to document these moments for them.

Ever since I photographed Stephanie & Jonah last spring, I was looking forward to their Chapel Hill wedding! We didn't get the beautiful Carolina blue sky and sunshine, but spirits were not dampened one bit. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, this sweet couple and I were still able to find some beautiful photo ops around UNC. Eric just finished up his Ph.D program at the School of Public Health, which also happens to be a lovely building! I'm very excited to be capturing their ceremony in beautiful Banner Elk (near Asheville) this weekend. Fingers crossed that we will have lots of gorgeous sunshine!

Vivianne's 100 days old! This little girl has the most adorable cheeks I have ever seen. She was so laid-back and cooperative during her photo shoot, and she was so good at looking at the camera! Already a natural! We took a stroll around a park in Carrboro before heading back for some photos in her beautiful home.

Southpoint Vineyards, Coker Arboretum & Sugarland Anniversary Photos

One of my favorite sessions ever!! I had the pleasure of spending a morning with Jessica and Scott to take some photos for their 1-year wedding anniversary, which happens to be today...so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! We stopped by the Vineyards at Southpoint, where they enjoyed sipping some good wine together, and then to Sugarland on Franklin Street to eat some delicious cupcakes, and finally the arboretum on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. The day was a beautiful change from the recently cold weather. Now...how gorgeous and adorable does this couple look?
